Research
To get information from field research we designed a cultural probe to understand aspects of an elderly person’s life. We explore the topic of family relationships, how aging is perceived depending on the culture and the communication challenges they face on a daily base.

Insights
80 million Americans are reportedly conversations avoiders, meaning they haven't talk about any important end-of-life issues with their parents or children.70% of family conversations about againg are prompted by events such as health crisis or another emergency.
Analysis
By using the recap method and creating a stakeholder map we had an overview of the project variables. We discovered new connections between elements of the whole system that helped us found a niche market for our product.

ORI is a family conduct book that encourages relatives to talk and make decisions which are dificult to address. ORI provides creative techniques which help them to moderate discussions about bold topics families don't like to approach.
