A protest movement against women body modification in advertising

This project addressed a complex problem related to the way the advertising industry portrait women. It investigates the way different industries create commercial strategies to convince society that women should look in a specific way.

This project was created to empower women to get rid of stereotypes and to sensitize companies about the implication of women body modification in advertising. Silicon Riot is an online movement that unites warriors in cities to protest against fake ads. The platform provides tools (clothes, stickers, markers) to encourage warriors to make guerilla actions directly on the ads.
